Best time to visit Malta

The best time to visit Malta is during the spring (April to June) and fall (September to October) seasons. During these months, the weather is really lovely with mild temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the rich historical sites, lounging on the beautiful beaches, and enjoying outdoor activities. In July and August, the weather gets really hot with temperatures rising as high as 38-40 degrees! While some sun-seekers may not get much fazed by such high temperatures, most will agree that being out and about exploring is not ideal. Summer does come with various perks though, such as outdoor festivals, concerts, and other fun things to do hence why, this period can be busier with tourists.

Winter (November to March) in Malta is mild but might not be the best time for beach activities. We’d highly recommend the shoulder seasons as they ensure a perfect blend of favorable weather, fewer crowds, and an opportunity to fully experience the diverse attractions Malta has to offer.
